Each patch is air activated and starts activating in 1 minute, with heating commencing within 5 minutes. The adhesive side is designed to be applied to clothing rather than directly to skin. The oval shape is made for comfort, and the 13cm x 9.5cm patch size can also be used on other joint or muscle areas. These odourless patches deliver sustained heat for up to 12 hours and are intended for single use. Warnings

Do not apply directly to the skin. Use over light clothing e.g. tee shirt or light material top. Not to be applied before sleeping. Not to be used in conjunction with any other heating agents e.g. hot water bottles, or applied under bandages or other tight fitting clothing. Do not use on the same area for more than 12 hours in any 24 hour period. Do not use on the face, mucous membranes, wounds, broken skin, bruises or swelling. Do not use on infants, children or persons unable to remove the patch on their own. Do not use with other skin medications or other heat sources. Do not bandage over the patch. Do not cut, massage or fold the patch. Do not attempt to reheat or microwave. Do not use whilst asleep or with prolonged pressure against patch. Do not use if product is punctured or torn. All heat patches have the potential to cause skin irritation, burns or blisters. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs or the patch gets uncomfortably hot. Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. If swallowed seek medical help. If contents of the patch come into contact with the skin or eyes rinse immediately with water and seek medical help. Consult a doctor before use if you are diabetic, pregnant, have poor circulation, nerve damage or a skin condition.

Open only when ready to use as product is air activated. Tear open plastic packet, remove protective film from patch and apply to the affected area, adhesive side on to clothing. To remove, slowly peel off the patch. Each patch is for single use only.
