General Information

24 hour relief of nasal symptoms of hayfever

For the temporary relief of the following symptoms of hayfever and allergy:

- Blocked Nose

- Runny nose

- Sneezing

- Itchy Nose

Warnings

Do not use:

* For more than 6 months without the advice of your pharmacist or doctor

* In children under 12 years of age

Before using this medicine:

Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are pregnant (or may become pregnant); have nasal or sinus infection; have recently had an injury or surgery to your nose; or have ulceration in your nose.

Caution while using this medicine:

Consult your pharmacist or doctor if: symptoms are not relieved within 7 days; your nose bleeds; you develop signs or symptoms of a nasal or sinus infection such as fever, pain or swelling or discoloured nasal discharge; you have eye pain or visual disturbances.

Contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative

Ingredients

Mometasone furoate 50 micrograms/spray (as monohydrate)

Directions

Shake well before each use.

If using for the first time, prime the pump by pumping the spray ten time until a fine mist is produced.

If unused for 14 days or more, reprime by pumping twice.

Do not pierce the nasal applicator.

For Adults and children 12 years and over:

How Much: 2 sprays into each nostril

How Often: Once daily

Maximum daily dose: 2 sprays into each nostril in 24 hours

Maintenace dose: Reduce to one spray into each nostril once daily

Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.

Dose should be reduced for maintenance treatment once full effect is obtained.
